The museum, situated in one of the stone buildings inside the architect Vedat Tek Culture and Art Center, was opened with only three hats in 2007 and has become a place where hundreds of hats belonging to collectors from different parts of Turkey are on display.
While visiting inside, you witness the aesthetic spirit that encompasses different periods of history and see that Kastamonu, the city where Atatürk announced the Hat Revolution to the public in 1925 (wearing a fez was no longer mandatory), protected the Hat Museum.
Entrens in museum is free.
